Its all about the images baby! We know most people are visual, meaning they like to look at pictures and a vast majority of bloggers or people who use WordPress like to insert pictures when creating a post or a page. Adding pictures to a post or a page keeps readers engaged longer than posts or pages that do not have images.

We also know that uploading and inserting images into a post or a page can be a tedious endeavor, especially for those who have never done it before. Which is why we have included a very nice image script called TimThumb into all of our psd to wordpress projects.

Seeing as how we do not like to use plugins, we had to come up with a way to add the TimThumb functionality to our psd to wordpress conversion framework and we did just that. All you have to do is upload one image to a post and the theme will automatically grab that image and insert it for you. The best part is you can control the image width and height as well as whether it is aligned to the left or aligned to the right. All from the comfort of the Theme Options Panel that is built in. If you do not have an image for a particular post, our conversion framework is designed to show a “default” image. Look at the image for this post. We decided not to attach an image associated with this post and let the default post image for our site show. Snazzy huh? Yeah we know.

Now if you are going to use multiple images for posts, then you have to upload them, insert them and select the alignment you want manually.
